Rachel Faulkner, CEO and Founder

With 20 years of experience in HR efficiency and workforce solutions, Rachel Faulkner brings a rare combination of legal knowledge, deep PEO expertise, and a genuine commitment to helping businesses find the right fit.

Early in her career, Rachel earned her law degree at night while building her professional foundation — sharpening the compliance and regulatory knowledge that would set her apart throughout her career. She then spent 15 years selling PEO directly, developing a nuanced understanding of what truly makes a PEO the right — or wrong — fit for a business.

That experience led her to open her own PEO brokerage firm, where she now matches each client with the precise PEO that aligns with their unique needs and where they are today as a business — rather than pushing a single solution.

A proud Nashville native, Rachel and her husband are raising their three children in the community they call home and bring that same personal, relationship-first approach to every client they serve.

Tyler Faulkner,
Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer of Precision PEO, Tyler Faulkner brings a multidisciplinary background in law, entrepreneurship, and real estate development to overseeing the company’s financial strategy and capital planning. Based in Nashville with his wife Rachel and their 3 children, he combines rigorous analytical skills with practical, deal-making experience to support Precision PEO’s growth initiatives and long-term value creation for their clients.

Prior to helping lead Precision PEO, Tyler built and managed multiple ventures as a Middle TN entrepreneur, giving him a deep understanding of how financial decisions impact business owners on the ground. He leverages this operator’s perspective to design financial structures that are both sound and business-friendly, from budgeting and forecasting to banking relationships and risk management.

Tyler earned his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law, which further strengthens his ability to navigate complex contracts, compliance considerations, and transaction structures on behalf of the company and its clients. Known for his collaborative style and accessible communication, he focuses on making Precision PEO’s financial operations transparent, disciplined, and aligned with the firm’s mission of delivering high-impact solutions to small and midsize employers.

Outside of his work at Precision PEO, Tyler remains active in the Middle Tennessee business community and continues to invest in and develop local projects that contribute to the region’s growth.

Sam Lannom,
Vice President of Sales

With over 5 years of experience in the Human Capital Management space, Sam Lannom brings a consultative, results-driven approach to helping companies navigate complex HR and PEO decisions. Having supported organizations representing over 4,800 employees across 40+ businesses, he has built a strong track record of aligning companies with solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support long-term growth.

Early in his career, Sam recognized that payroll, benefits, and human capital strategy represent some of the largest — and most impactful — expenses within any organization. With a natural interest in how businesses operate, he developed a passion for helping leaders optimize these areas through better systems, smarter processes, and more strategic decision-making.

Sam spent five and a half years at two of the largest HRIS providers, partnering with business owners and leadership teams to understand their goals, uncover inefficiencies, and recommend solutions across HR, payroll, and benefits. This experience gave him a well-rounded perspective on both technology and service models — and a clear understanding of what works, what doesn’t, and why.

At Precision PEO, Sam brings that same advisory mindset to every client engagement, focusing first on how each business operates, where they want to go, and what challenges stand in the way. Rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution, he leverages his expertise and network to guide companies through the PEO selection process — ensuring they choose the right partner based on their unique needs, structure, and growth plans.

Based in Nashville, Sam enjoys working on hands-on projects and pursuing a wide range of hobbies including dirt biking, camping, boating, snowboarding, and endurance sports. He and his black lab, Goose, are often found exploring the outdoors — where Goose also serves as an unofficial (and largely unproductive) member of the operations team.
